Hi, I’m Emilio, and I’m waiting for you at Il Rusticano for an experience that goes far beyond a simple aperitivo. Here, between artisanal croquettes made from my mother’s 41-year-old recipe and more than 200 labels of gin, I’ve created a place where every drink tells a story and every dish smells like home. It all started when I was 12, making coffee, then I moved into the kitchen to prepare our famous crocchè (croquettes). After a life spent between cooking and passion, I returned to the family restaurant with a clear goal: to revolutionise the aperitivo along the coast — offering not just a pre-dinner drink, but food with true flavour and generous portions.
