Discover the magic of creating in Giuseppe’s workshop, where you’ll experience the beauty of shaping clay with your own hands. In this immersive experience, you’ll learn how to form a terracotta object, connecting directly with the earth in a creative and deeply therapeutic moment. Since your piece will need several days to dry and be fired, you’ll have the option to choose a finished piece made by Giuseppe to decorate. You’ll glaze and paint the piece you select, making it truly yours in every detail. After three days, you can pick up your finished work or arrange to have it shipped home (shipping costs apply) or choose an already finished product.

From start to finish, he’ll guide you through every step, letting you feel the clay, its weight, its softness, and the beauty of shaping something from nothing. Before you leave, you can choose to take home a finished piece made by Giuseppe, or — if you’re staying nearby — return in about 10 days to collect your own creation, once it has dried and been fired. Either way, you’ll take home an authentic memory of your journey…made with heart and soul.

The Zafarana is the village’s iconic chilli pepper, grown and harvested in early October.
