We’re Mimmo and Romilda, husband and wife, and we’re delighted to share two passions that have been part of our family for generations: wine and home cooking. Mimmo grew up surrounded by the aromas of fermenting grapes, freshly pressed olive oil and the produce from the land his grandfather and family cultivated. Although homemade wine had always been part of family life, I dreamt of one day creating my own vineyard and producing a wine that could tell the story of the land and the people who came before me. That dream became a reality in 2014 with the birth of Cantina Donadio. The words above are written on the bottles and perfectly capture the spirit behind this journey. Together with wine a great passion is cooking and with Romilda, we created a small restaurant where guests are welcomed like friends of the family and treated to recipes that celebrate the authentic flavours of the past, perfectly paired with our wines. We look forward to welcoming you to share a journey through wine, food and memories of the past.
