Welcome to Orsomarso! We are Franco and Miki and we would love to share the typical cuisine of this small village nestled among the mountains of the Riviera dei Cedri. Our story is one of a deep love for this land. Franco grew up surrounded by his mamma’s cooking and spent much of his career working in restaurants and hotels, cultivating a dream of one day opening up a restaurant of his own to share the recipes that make this territory so special and our village unique. Miki arrived from Romania and fell in love with Orsomarso and its culinary traditions. Learning from the women of the village, she inherited a passion to continue to preserve these recipes and to share them with those who come to visit. Today, we welcome guests into our Home Restaurant, U’ Fusiddu, where every dish tells a story of culture, tradition and community. Join us to experience the flavours of Orsomarso!

U' Fusiddu di Orsomarso

One of Orsomarso's most cherished traditions: U' Fusiddu, the village's signature handmade pasta. Together with Franco and Miki, you'll learn the traditional technique of shaping fusilli using a ferretto, a skill lovingly preserved through generations. Afterwards, gather around the table to enjoy the meal you've created together, sharing stories, gestures passed down through generations, and the authentic flavours of Orsomarso. Location: Orsomarso, Calabria (15 km from Scalea ~ 20 minutes) Highlights: Hands-on workshop making the traditional U' Fusiddu' (fusilli) using the traditional ferretto. Lunch featuring the pasta prepared together. Local wine and water.
