Travelling by Train
Trains to Scalea-Santa Domenica Talao
Travelling by train to Scalea from Rome, Naples or from the bottom up (Sicily) is rather a pleasant experience with views of the coastline and the possibility to sit-back, relax and enjoy the scenery.
Our suggestion is to compare the websites of both major train providers to find the most suitable option for you:
Destination: Scalea-S. Domenica Talao
*We recommend checking the number of stops (“cambio”) to ensure you don’t have to swap trains and if you’d prefer a quicker journey, we recommend opting for the Frecciarossa service (approximately 3 Hours from Rome & 2.5 Hours from Naples).
If you’re arriving from Rome International airport, all you need to do is follow the signs from train (take the elevator to the Arrivals level and follow the signs along an enclosed bridge to the train station), take the Leonardo Express Train (payable by Credit Card) which will bring you straight to the main station, Roma Termini, where you will depart for Scalea-Santa Domenica Talao.
